The Wild Seed Collective

The Wild Seed Collective is a concept and brand I developed with a small team at Parachute Creative to support the conservation of rare heirloom seeds. Since 1905 we have lost 80% of our food varieties and we now survive off the only a small handful of plant foods that once existed. This inspired me to create a brand and platform for a virtual seed collective.

I am currently negotiating with the Portland Seedhouse, which is interested in using the brand and supporting the development of a companion app and website.

A food security network

We all want to be part of something bigger. I wanted to create a space for exchange.

Website and app development

I also designed an app, website & social media templates for the brand. Let’s do this.

Something extra, seed packaging

I designed these seed packets to support the cause and distribute regionally adapted seeds to the communities that need them.

Social media messaging

Part of my process in developing this seed exchange brand and platform was to craft direct and powerful messaging that would encourage people to get involved.
